Justus Masa is currently the leader of Electrocatalysis and Energy Conversion at the Center for Electrochemical Sciences, Ruhr University Bochum, Germany. He is an advisor to the Government of Uganda on value addition to minerals, under the Presidential Investors Round Table (PIRT V) initiative. He is a Fellow of the African Good Governance Network (AGGN), dedicated to fostering values of good governance in Africa. Masa has been involved in several patents and won the Rubitec Inventor Award in 2010, 2014 and 2016. He holds a PhD in Chemistry from Ruhr-University Bochum (2012), MSc in Chemistry (2008) and BSc in Industrial Chemistry (2003) from Makerere University, and he was a Postdoctoral Research at Oxford University in 2013.
