Dr. Sam Yala holds an Electrical Engineer degree and Business administration degree from the University of Louvain in Belgium. He also holds a PhD in Applied Sciences from the same university. He joined Cap Gemini Ernst&Young in 2000 as IT Security consultant, and he joined Worldline (an ATOS Company) in 2003 as Senior Security Engineer where he worked essentially in the development and implementation of embedded security algorithms and protocols.

In 2010, Sam Yala has been appointed as International Account Manager of Security Products in Worldline (an ATOS Company). His domains of interest include cryptography and embedded security. Sam Yala is also visiting professor at the University of Kinshasa (Polytechnique) since 2009.
