Dr. Veerle Berbers is a Belgian/Dutch senior impact investing advisor, an impact investor in her own right and social influencer. She advises a number of sustainable financial organisations such as Triodos Investment Management, C-Change, Aqua-Spark and is an ambassador for Impact Investing Networks such as Toniic and Pymwymic.

Veerle is on the Board of the SocialAlpha Investment Fund (SAIF) Bastion, which provides loans to social enterprises in East Africa, including renewable energy companies. As an impact investor herself she has provided finance to Benelux sustainable energy start-ups and to African renewable energy generating companies such as SolarNow in Uganda and Lake Turkana Wind Power in Kenya.
