He launched Quartz Africa in 2015 as well as Quartz’s Africa Innovators Summit in Nairobi. As a journalist, he has reported from nearly 20 countries across Europe, Africa and the Americas.

Before joining Quartz, Yinka was deputy editor at Billboard where he ran the business coverage for the world’s leading music magazine brand. Prior to that he was Reuters’ senior media correspondent covering the global media business. Yinka is a regular speaker at conferences around the world and pundit on BBC, CNN and NPR.
